Thieves took the large decorative plant pots from outside Ramels Florist in Hatfield Road on Friday, November 21.

It is thought they were taken between 4pm and 5.30pm.

Police are now appealing for information.

PC Paul Francis from the Potters Bar and Shenley Safer Neighbourhood Team is investigating and said: “Due to the size and weight of the urns it is likely that a vehicle was used to move and transport them from the florist.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the urns being moved to contact me. I would also like to hear from anyone who believes they may know the whereabouts of the urns now or who has been offered them for sale.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Francis via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference J3/14/1107.
