A man has been convicted of murdering a wealthy Potters Bar property owner at his home, but two alleged accomplices have been found guilty of lesser offences only.
An Old Bailey jury today found Sebastian Kimel, 40, of Beechcroft, Streatham, guilty of murdering Milton Papadopoulos on October 20, 2014, exactly a year before the verdicts.
He was also convicted of conspiracy to rob, and had admitted conspiracy to falsely imprison.
Krzysztof Kasza, 42, of Imperial Road, Wood Green, and Arkadiusz Szarkowski, 42, of Abbs Cross Gardens, Hornchurch,
were both cleared of murder, but convicted of manslaughter, conspiracy to rob and conspiracy to falsely imprison.
The trio are due to be sentenced on Friday.
