AN elderly motorist has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after his car crashed into a lamppost.
The man, believed to be in his 80s has been taken to the QE2 Hospital after the accident, which happened at 3pm.
Police were also at the scene of the Ford Escort’s crash on Crossbrook, in Hatfield and temporarily closed the road.
