Police investigate Potters Bar dog attack

Police are investigating a dog attack that happened in a Potters Bar park this morning.

Police received a call at 10.58am this morning (Thursday, November 29) to reports of a dog attack in Oakmere Park.

A Herts Police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “The victim was walking her dog in the park when a grey dog, believed to either be a Staffy or pitbull, attacked her dog, biting its neck.

“The grey dog was with its owner, a male, and was not on a lead.”

•Any witnesses are asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/60811/18.
