Services have restarted between Hitchin and Cambridge but are likely to be delayed, after a woman was struck by a train in Letchworth.

A woman in her 60s has been air-lifted to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge with serious leg injuries after being hit by a train at Letchworth Station at about 10.30am.

Govia Thameslink says services have restarted, but passengers should expect half-hour delays.

British Transport Police says the incident is not suspicious.
