JURORS in the Jack Wall murder trial have been sent home for the day, having not reached a verdict.

The jury at Blackfriars Crown Court is set to continue its deliberations tomorrow.

Wall, 22, is accused of murdering former girlfriend Amelia Arnold in November last year before burying her body in a shallow grave in Travellers Lane, Hatfield.

The former Sir Frederic Osborn schoolgirl, 19, was hit at least eight times around the head, the court has heard.

Wall denies murder, but admits manslaughter.

He handed himself in at Hatfield Police Station.
