No services can run between Hitchin and Cambridge until at least 12.30pm as someone has been hit by a train at Letchworth.

According to Govia Thameslink, northbound trains calling at Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield are currently affected because emergency services are dealing with an “incident”.

British Transport Police officers are at the scene, and say a “person” has been hit by a train.
