Police investigating the death of a Potters Bar man have revealed a second man arrested will no longer have to answer police bail.

Milton Papadopoulos was found dead at his home address in Parkfield View on October 22.

His death prompted an investigation by detectives from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, called Operation Pinene.

A police spokesman said: “A man was due to answer police bail on Tuesday. At this time he will face no further action.”

One man has already been charged with joint enterprise murder.

Forty-two-year-old Arkadiusz Szarkowski, of Abbs Cross Gardens, Hornchurch, was charged on March 12.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on September 2.

A third man, a 41-year-old from Romford, will answer police bail next Wednesday, April 29.

Police continue to investigate the matter with the one of the latest inquiries centring on the possibility that a van, seen in the area at the time of Mr Papadopoulos’ death, may have been in Cuffley.

Anyone with any information in relation to Milton’s death should contact the Majot Crime Unit’s incident room on 01707 355 666.
