No change as Tories keep seats

NO surprises were thrown in the wards of Potters Bar as all three seats were retained by the Tories.

The Conservatives kept their positions for Furzefield, Oakmere and Parkfield wards on Hertsmere Borough Council with little challenge.

The elected councillors were Peter Knell for Furzefield ward with 1,303 votes, Martin Heywood for Oakmere with 1,187 votes and John Donne for Parkfield with 1,903 votes.

It was a similar story across the borough with the Tories taking the majority of the council's seats.

Conservatives gained three seats and now hold 31 seats.

The Lib Dems and Labour both lost seats, with five and three respectively.
