A NEW chief executive has taken over the running of NHS Hertfordshire, the body which pays for healthcare across the county.
Dr Jane Halpin, director of public health and deputy chief executive since 2006, took over the role from the departing Anne Walker earlier this month.
Dr Halpin, who initially trained as a doctor and has worked in senior public health positions for the past decade, said: āIām pleased to have taken on this role in the midst of a very challenging time for the NHS.ā
