THE next chapter in the Star Wars saga has been unveiled. Set more than 3,500 years before the events in the films, Star Wars: The Old Republic is a massively multiplayer online game that'll be initially released on the PC with Xbox 360 and PS3 versions under consideration. While details are still scarce, the game takes place during a period of galactic upheavel (nothing new there then), with the Old Republic and the Sith Empire at war with each other. You'll be able to choose to fight for either side in the conflict with the choices you make directly influencing the storyline.
