AFTER the first game managed to outsell Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, Skate 2 is back for more skateboarding tricks and stunts.
This time round, players are tasked with reviving the skate scene in a newly rebuilt town. With some tough new moves to master - including footplants and fingerflips - it is up to you to unlock the best rides in the city as well as create some of your own and share them online with other skaters. There is also a new physics engine that has been designed to show off every bail in bone-splintering detail. Available for both Xbox 360 and PS3, Skate 2 will be in the shops from January 23 2009.
