HULKING great robots smashing the metal teeth out of each other is not a particularly new idea, but Battle Rage: The Robot Wars adds some clever 3D effects to make up for the aging concept.

The Wii-only game, due for release later this year, comes with a pair of stereoscopic glasses designed to give the metal-shredding combat an extra dimension. I would not hold your breath for this one, but if the technique works it could certainly be fun.
