A UNIQUE skateboard peripheral is rumoured to be in development for the next Tony Hawk game. After the critical mauling handed out to Proving Ground, the series is getting a radical revamp as it attempts to claw back sales lost to the all-conquering Skate 2. While details are scarce, it is suggested that the new board-like controller will be bundled with all versions of the game and enable players to pull off a series of tricks and jumps by using the device just like the real thing. Slated for an autumn release on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii, it remains to be seen how it will work in practice.
