WELWYN Hatfield will have a new mayor by the end of tonight’s (Monday) annual meeting of the borough council.
Outgoing mayor Kim Langley will be handing over the mayoral chain to Howard Morgan, who served as deputy mayor this year.
But before she steps down, Cllr Langley has one more job to do – present this year’s Civic Awards.
A deputy mayor for the year will also be chosen at the meeting.
The AGM kicks off at 7.30pm, at Campus West Theatre in WGC.
