THE latest plans for the new QE2 Hospital will go on show to the public later today (Friday).
Members of the public are invited to view the building designs for the WGC hospital which is expected to open in spring/summer 2014.
Dr Hari Pathmanathan, GP at Bridge Cottage Surgery and the lead GP for Welwyn Hatfield on the East and North Herts clinical commissioning group said: “Since planning permission was secured in September the project team has been working hard on developing the plans for the new hospital.
“This will be the first chance for local residents to see the how the detailed design work is progressing and is a great opportunity for people to speak to the team directly in charge of the project.”
Staff from NHS Hertfordshire, GPs and the wider project team will be on hand to talk through the displays and answer any questions.
The exhibition will be at the Acorn Suite, Campus West, WGC, from 1pm until 4pm this afternoon.
A further display will be held at room two, Hertford County Hospital on Tuesday from noon until 4pm.
