PLANNING permission is being sought to convert a building into a shop and three flats in Welwyn.
An application to develop the disused property at 6 High Street has been submitted to Welwyn Hatfield Council.
The applicant, Ingrid Hicks, wants to convert the building into two two-bedroom flats, and a single one-bedroom flat, together with a shop, which would be open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
The plans also incorporate parking spaces for eight cars.

Mrs Hicks' agent, Martin West, said he could not confirm what type of shop his client wanted to develop.
The plans are currently open to consultation until June 10.
