A PLAN setting out how Hertfordshire will be policed over the next few years is set to be launched today (Friday).
The plan, which has been drawn up by Hertfordshire Police Authority, will lay down the county's policing priorities, including reducing serious crime and increasing the public's feelings of safety.
Chief Constable Frank Whiteley said: "The policing plan will help us to continue to drive down crime, improve service and focus our activity at a time when resources are being squeezed and demand on policing services is increasing."
The launch will take place at 10.30am at the Fielder Centre in Hatfield.
