Vikki Pearman, 41, of Cotton Field, and her husband Trevor have moved their business Pedigrees ‘n’ Pooches Pet Spa from Cole Green in WGC to Hatfield.

The shop, which offers dog grooming, pet supplies and microchips, opened on Monday and is based at 13 Market Place next to Appleby’s.

Vikki said: “We wanted to expand our business and we needed more room.

“Everyone who has popped in so far has been so lovely and we look forward to our future here.”

In 2016 Vikki was named ‘creative stylist of the year’ at the English Groomers Challenge in Kent, after painting her pet poodle purple with a design inspired by ‘Game of Thrones’.

The couple’s two poodles Apache and Lacie are often in the salon with them helping with the work load.
