A new development has been named in honour of a notable supporter of the Suffragette movement.

Building firm McCarthy and Stone is launching its new retirement development on London Road, Constance Place, in memory of Lady Constance Lytton of Knebworth.

Lady Constance not only grew up in Knebworth House, but also went on to become a noted figure in her support of the suffragette movement.
