IT was a golden start for a new hi-tech store on Saturday, as it opened its doors at the Galleria in Hatfield for the first time.
The new iCentre store, which stocks the latest gadgets from computer giants Apple, was opened by Britain's Got Talent star DJ Talent, famous for his gold teeth and bling accessories.
He was joined at the opening by entrepreneur Laban Roomes, founder of gold-plating service Goldgenie, whose new range of gold-plated iPods will appear in store.
Galleria chief executive Tim Stirling said the iCentre was "a great addition" to the complex's burgeoning portfolio of major brand outlets.
