UFO computer hacker Gary McKinnon, whose mother Janis Sharp lives in Brookmans Park, will today learn if he faces extradition to the USA after an 10-year battle.

Home secretary Teresa May will announce today (Tuesday) whether she will block the 46-year-old’s extradition.

He is accesed of “the biggest military computer hack of all time”.

Mr McKinnon, who suffers from Asperger’s syndrome, admits hacking into US military computers, but says he was looking for evidence of UFOs.

It is feared that if he is convicted, he could be jailed for up to 60 years.

He was arrested in March 2002 after it emerged he had accessed Pentagon and Nasa computers from his bedroom in North London.
