A Hatfield bride kept her childhood promise when she was helped up the aisle by her bridesmaid grandmother.

As Kay Bradley and Patrick McDonald exchanged vows at St Etheldreda’s Church, her retinue ranged from her four-year-old

daughter Lexie to her nan June Wells, aged 77.

The key guests arrived in a traditional London bus, in a tribute to the bride’s late grandfather.
