AN evening of musical entertainment helped raise cash for a charity which provides a Christmas Day lunch for the elderly and lonely in Welwyn Hatfield.
The Positif choir was joined by a variety of soloists in an event for the Mixed Group.
Violinist Rebekah Knight, flutist Zoe Gray, vocalist Rachel Knight, and trombonist Max Gray all took part and Carole Hemmings gave a poetry reading.
The next charity event for the Mixed Group is a summer lunch and will take place on Sunday, July 12.
MP Grant Shapps has agreed to host the event, which has a minimum donation of �10 per ticket.
