Four men were set to go on trial today in connection with a fatal stabbing in Welwyn Garden City.

Vinnie Bradshaw, 19, of Bassingburn Walk in WGC, was charged with murder and Daniel Frazer-Traille, 29, also of Bassingburn Walk, was charged with joint enterprise murder after a 23-year-old died on January 18 this year.

Police were called at about 10.20pm to Ethelred Close before finding the victim, later named in court documents as Jamil Mohammed Sarki, with stab wounds in Ludwick Way.

He was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.

Bradshaw and Frazer-Traille were scheduled to go on trial this afternoon (June 4) at St Albans Crown Court.

Keith Coventry, 34, of Bassingburn Walk, was also charged with murder, and John Taycur, 18, of Longmore Gardens in WGC, was charged with joint enterprise murder.

Although the pair were not on the court listings, a police spokeswoman said they also appeared in court today.
