A Hertfordshire-wide appeal has been launched in a bid to trace a murder suspect.

Michael Mc Inerney, 32, of no fixed abode, had been due to answer bail yesterday (Thursday) in connection with the murder of Arulchelvam Prasanna in a Watford car park last year.

Mr Prasanna died at St Mary’s Hospital, London, 11 days after being found in the car park of Costco in Hartspring Lane, Watford, at around 2.45 pm on Sunday, May 26.

DCI Ruth Dodsworth, from the Bedfordshire Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “Michael Mc Inerney has failed to answer his bail for an extremely serious offence.

“I am urging anyone who may know of his whereabouts to contact police immediately on 999. Michael, if you see or hear this appeal, we will find you and it is in your best interests to hand yourself in.”
