A motorcyclist who was critically injured after coming off of his bike this morning has been moved to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The incident occurred at 5:44am on Ware Road, near Watton at Stone, and an ambulance spokesman said the male motorcyclist suffered “very serious injuries” to the abdomen and head, and also had multiple fractures, before he was initially taken to Lister Hospital.

It happened near the roundabout at the junction with the A602 and A119, and resulted in Ware Road being closed in both directions, however it has now reopened with no delays.
