A MOTORCYCLIST has died following an early morning crash on the M25.

The biker, a 24-year-old man from London, died this morning (Thursday) at Barnet General Hospital, after a crash on the westbound carriageway of the M25 at around 6.30am yesterday.

The man’s blue and white Suzuki collided with a silver Renault panel van, a crash which resulted in the motorway being closed for almost four hours.

The van driver, a 49-year-old man from Broxbourne, was uninjured.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash, and anyone with information should call PC Terry Nesbitt on 0845 33 00 222.
