A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a crash in Potters Bar this morning.
The ambulance service was called shortly before 8am to a collision involving a white Mercedes car and a yellow BMW motorcycle on Mimms Hall Road.
A spokesperson said: “After being treated at the scene the motorcyclist was taken by Essex and Herts Air Ambulance to the Royal London Hospital with serious leg injuries.”
Police were called at 8.03am by the ambulance service and also attended the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “The motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with leg injuries.
“There was oil on the road so Herts Highways were made aware.”
