Police are appealing for witnesses and information


Police officers today appealed for witnesses after a motorbike was stolen from outside a house in Hatfield.

The theft occurred in High Dells between 1am on Sunday, May 7, and 11.30am on Monday, May 8.

The white Yamaha WR125 was parked on the street outside a house. The thieves removed the bike and fled, before it was found in a garage block in Bishops Rise the following day.

PC Shaun Buchanan from the Welwyn Hatfield West Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who saw the bike being stolen or it being left in the garage block between the times stated.”
