RUMOURS that chart-topping N-Dubz star Dappy was set to move to Brookmans Park have been scotched.

The 24-year-old rapper, real name Costadinos Contostavlos, and his trademark woolly Peruvian-style hats have already been spotted in the village.

The grime music collective filmed the video for their hit Wouldn’t You? there in 2009.

Joined by his bandmate and cousin X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, and fellow rapper Fazer, Dappy recorded scenes in a large palatial detached house in the village.

And it was believed that the star, who scooped a MOBO award last week for the video of his Tinchy Stryder collaboration Spaceship, was about to reacquaint himself with the area.

Twitter user Eleni Demetriou tweeted: “I got so excited when my auntie told me she sold her house in brookmans park to @TheDappy ahhhh.”

But, dismissing the claims, his agent Rich Castillo told the WHT: “Why would I confirm that?

“Not true.”
