HERTFORDSHIRE beauties gathered in Tewin to see who was the fairest of them all on Sunday.
This year’s Miss Hertfordshire pageant took place at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel, with 24 stunners vying for the coveted tiara.
In the end Watford’s Monica Rose Sandhu, 21, took the title, but she was ran close by 20-year-old Welwyn beauty Georgia Heap.
In third place was Rickmansworth’s Charlotte White, 21.
Organiser Sue Waite told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “The Finals were a very prestigious event at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.
“We had 24 beautiful girls vying for the title and an audience of 300.
“The girls were put through their paces by our choreographer in rehearsals all day.
“Our new Miss Hertfordshire Monica Rose Sandhu will take part in the Miss England finals on the June 16.”
She added: “The girls were asked to fundraise for the Miss World Charity ‘Beauty with a purpose’ and they raised £6,500, which is the highest any Miss England heat has raised this year.
“Our overall fundraiser Emily Wetherall raised over £1,600 on her own and has won a place in the Miss England semi-finals at the end of May.”
