Welwyn Garden City doctors’ surgery trespasser gets community order

A man has been given a community order after going into a Welwyn Garden City doctors’ surgery with intent to steal.

Michelangelo Accurso, 40, of Link Road, Barnet, went into Spring House Medical Centre as a trespasser with intent to steal on July 16.

At Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on November 6, he admitted the offence.

Accurso was given a community order.

He must comply with a six-month curfew, which will be monitored electronically.

He must be at home between the hours of 6pm and 6am.

The defendant was also ordered to pay £340 in compensation and £85 to victim services.

An application was made for the £425 to be deducted from his benefits.
