AFTER nine months at sea, Michael Perham is re-adjusting to life back home in Potters Bar.

The 17-year-old received a hero's welcome as he completed his world record-breaking global voyage.

Michael sailed into Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth on Saturday - two days after officially crossing the finish 'line' off Lizard Point in Cornwall.

In today's Welwyn & Hatfield Times and Potters Bar Edition, the teenager talks about how he is getting "back into the swing of things" back home in Oakroyd Avenue.
