Mercedes stolen in home raid

A MERCEDES CLK parked on a driveway was among a haul of expensive and valuable items stolen from a property in Northaw. As well as the car, two Sony TVs – a 46in black LCD and a 15in green LCD – a black iPod and bank cards were taken.

A MERCEDES CLK parked on a driveway was among a haul of expensive and valuable items stolen from a property in Northaw.

As well as the car, two Sony TVs - a 46in black LCD and a 15in green LCD - a black iPod and bank cards were taken.

The burglary, at the home in Vineyards Road, took place between Sunday and Tuesday.

Pc Emily Martin from Hatfield police station is investigating the incident.

She said: "This has caused much upset and inconvenience for the homeowners who have had property worth a lot of money stolen.

"I would urge anyone who knows anything about the burglary or the whereabouts of the property to please come forward."
