TWO men have been arrested and charged in connection with twenty-one separate incidents of burglary and fraud.
During the spree, spanning four counties, the twosome duped money out of their victims in properties in Cuffley and Potters Bar.
Police say they gained entry into the houses, on June 19, under false pretences.
A spokeswoman said: "A 21-year-old man from Chertsey and a 22-year-old man from North Benfleet have been charged with conspiracy to burgle and conspiracy to defraud in connection with twenty-one incidents."
The crimes took place in Hertfordshire, Kent, Suffolk and Buckinghamshire in June and July.
Both men have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at St Albans Crown Court next month.
