FIVE men arrested at a travellers site in Codicote have been bailed.

The men, aged 29, 35, 36, 57, and 59, all from Codicote, were arrested on alleged immigration and Proceeds of Crime Act offences, after a dawn raid carried out by police.

Four Chinese nationals, a Dutch man and two British men found were all found at the site, although police confirm they were not being treated at slaves.

All five Codicote men have been bailed to return to a Hertfordshire police station at the end of October.
