Meeting to be held to explain New Barnfield incinerator inquiry process

PUBLISHED: 15:00 06 May 2013

A MEETING will be held in Hatfield to explain the workings of an inquiry to decide the fate of the hated incinerator.

Up to 100 members of the public can get into Fielder Hall, Manor Road, in Hatfield, to hear the inquiry’s inspector – who is yet to be announced – explain how the process will work.

The inspector, who will chair the inquiry in September, will explain to the parties who will be represented what they have to do.

The meeting will be on June 6 at 11am.

Cathy Roe, of Hatfield Against Incineration, said: “We are expecting it to be quite technical but interested people are welcome to turn up.”
