A PUBLIC meeting is being held tonight (Wednesday) over controversial plans to build a new secondary school in Times Territory.
Members of the Save Woolmer Green Campaign (SWGC) will be making a presentation outlining their concerns over proposals by the We Need A School campaign (WNAS) to build a secondary school in the village.
Education Secretary Michael Gove has given approval for WNAS to develop a business plan for its vision of a school for children living in Knebworth, Woolmer Green, Oaklands, Welwyn and Codicote – although a site has yet to be found.
Several locations have been identified, including Woolmer Green.
The meeting will be held at 7.30pm at Woolmer Green Village Hall in Hall Lane.
