Shoplifter who targeted Marks and Spencers in Potters Bar five times is jailed for 20 weeks

A prolific shoplifter has been jailed for 20 weeks after targeting shops in Potters Bar, Brookmans Park, Cheshunt and London.
Paul Jeffrey Sanders, 50, of no fixed abode, admitted a string of offences.
On April 1 and May 15, he stole meat from Marks and Spencers in Potters Bar.
On April 6, he stole meat from the Co-op in Brookmans Park and was back at the store again on May 12 stealing fish.
Then he was in Cheshunt stealing chocolates from the Co-op on May 17.
On June 1, 10 and 26 he targeted Marks and Spencers in Potters Bar yet again stealing sweets, meat and a salad.
Sanders then struck at a florists in London, stealing the cash register along with bottles of wine and champagne.
When he appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on June 28, he was jailed for 20 weeks because of the “consistent an prolific spell of offending in a short space of time”.
