A Welwyn Garden City man who was arrested on suspicion of inappropriately exposing himself to a child in public has been released under investigation.
It follows reports that a man indecently exposed himself to a boy in an alleyway near Watchlytes Primary School on Wednesday, October 4.
Police linked the incident to another report on Friday, September 29, when a man was seen indecently exposing himself in Herns Lane by a member of the public before making off towards Morrisons.
On October 6, police arrested a 50-year-old man from Welwyn Garden City on suspicion of indecently exposing himself.
A police spokeswoman said: “I can confirm the man arrested following the incident on October 4 has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.”
