Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was attacked by three men in Welwyn Garden City.

At around 3.45pm yesterday, in Hollybush Lane, Welwyn Garden City, a man, aged in his 50s, was assaulted by three men, who punched him several times.

A police spokeswoman said: “The victim has suffered a suspected fractured jaw and is currently in hospital.

“Police enquiries are on-going at this stage.”
