Police shut entrance to Potters Bar station


Police have confirmed that a man was stabbed last Friday in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar.

Police were called at 1.38pm on Friday, February 5 after a man in his 20s sustained an injury to his right arm, believed to be a stab wound.

The victim had staggered into Caffe Nero, where staff treated his injuries while waiting for the ambulance.

He was taken to Barnet General Hospital for treatment and has since been released.

It is believed that the victim and offender are known to each other and enquiries are on-going.

No arrests have been made at this stage.
