A MAN suffered a broken jaw in an “unprovoked” pub attack.
Just after midnight on Sunday, at the Town Inn in Queensway, a 24-year-old was punched in the head, by a man described as 5ft 11in tall, of small to medium build and with dark hair shaved at the sides.
Pc Andrew Dockerill said: “This was an unprovoked attack lasting only a few seconds but resulted in the victim receiving a broken jaw. I would appeal for any witnesses that were in the Town Inn Public House at around midnight and saw the man being knocked to the floor. The offender might have been with another man who is not believed to be part of the assault.”
