A MAN was assaulted in Hatfield last night (Monday) by two thugs who asked him for the time.
The victim was walking along Lemsford Road at 11.15pm when he was approached by the two men.
When he removed his phone from his pocket to check the time, he was threatened and then punched.
The suspects, who fled with the victim's phone after the attack, are described as white.
