A man has been jailed after he was caught with heroin in Hatfield.

Stevie Woods, 37, admitted stealing meat worth £129.48 from Tesco in Hatfield on October 21.

He also admitted having four wraps of heroin in Hatfield on December 3 when he appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on December 5.

The defendant was jailed for 35 days.

The court considered his offences to be especially serious given the list of previous convictions and little progress made on orders. Woods, of no fixed address, was ordered to pay victim services £115.
