A man whose vicious assault at Welwyn Garden City Railway Station knocked his victim’s eyeball from its socket has been jailed.

Richard Harper, 43, of no fixed abode was sentenced to seven years and four months in prison at St Albans Crown Court on Friday, after admitting causing grievous bodily harm with intent and theft.
