Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder


Police are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in the early hours of this morning in Welwyn Garden City.

A police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “Police were called shortly before 1.40am today (November 5) to a report of a disturbance in Parkway, Welwyn Garden City.

“It was reported that a group of men were involved in a fight and that one man had been injured.

“Officers attended and a man aged in his 20s was located in hospital in a short while later with stab wounds. His injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

“No arrests have been made at this stage but enquires into the incident are continuing.”
