Man flown to hospital from Welwyn Garden City in life-threatening condition

A man has been flown to hospital in a life-threatening condition after suffering serious leg injuries in a Welwyn Garden City business premises this afternoon.

The ambulance service received a call at 3.12pm today to a business premises in Little Burrow.

The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance attended the scene.

On arrival paramedics treated a man believed to be in his 50s who had serious leg injuries.

The man has now been flown to The Royal London Hospital in a life-threatening condition, an ambulance spokesman has said.
