Police have renewed their appeal


A man hit by a car between Potters Bar and Brookmans Park ten days ago has died in hospital, police have revealed.

Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses and information after doctors at a London hospital were unable to save a 25-year-old Lithuanian man,

He was hit by a silver Audi A3 in Hawkeshead Road, Swanley Bar on Friday, November 13.

Police constable David Clarke said: “We believe that a long wheel-based white Ford Transit pickup was parked nearby around the time of the incident.

“The driver may have seen the collision itself or have driven past the scene following the incident and have information that is important to our investigation.”

Anyone with information should contact the Collision Investigation Unit via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101.

The accident happened at about 4,50pm, near the junction with Bluebridge Road.
